CODA is proud to announce our 2021 South American Optimist Championship Team!
The International Teams Committee would like to officially announce the team composition for the 2021 South American Optimist Championship in Mar del Plata, Argentina, December 11-18. The selection process for this event was unique and consisted of an application process. The first round was open in August and the second in October. In total, the ITC received applications from fourteen candidates. Requirements included gender, age and vaccination status. The three selection criterias were letter of motivation, coach recommendation and past results.
CODA would like to congratulate the six sailors who have been selected for this event as well as their appointed coach and thank the many sailors who applied to the selection process.
